Rubik´s Cube / Cubo de Rubik

The Rubik's Cube is a 3-D mechanical puzzle invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik.

**El Cubo de Rubik es un rompecabezas mecánico en 3D inventado en 1974 por un escultor y profesor de arquitectura Húngaro Ernö Rubik.

In a classic Rubik's Cube, each of the six faces is covered by nine stickers, among six solid colours (traditionally white, red, blue, orange, green, and yellow).

**En un Cubo de Rubik clásico, cada uno de los 6 lados esta cubierto con 9 cuadros de un color sólido (tradicionalmente blanco, rojo, azul, naranja, verde y amarillo).

A pivot mechanism enables each face to turn independently, thus mixing up the colours. For the puzzle to be solved, each face must be a solid colour.

**Un mecanismo de pivote permite que cada cara se mueva independientemente, combinando los colores. Cuando se resuelve, cada cara debe tener un mismo color sólido.

There are different variations of Rubik's Cubes, the 2×2×2 (Pocket/Mini Cube), the standard 3×3×3 cube, the 4×4×4 (Rubik's Revenge/Master Cube), and the 5×5×5 (Professor's Cube), the 6×6×6 (V-Cube 6), and 7×7×7 (V-Cube 7).

**Hay muchas variaciones del Cubo de Rubik, el 2x2x2  (Cubo de Bolsillo), el estandar 3x3x3, el 4x4x4 (Cubo Maestro), el 5x5x5 (Cubo Profesional), el 6x6x6 (Cubo-V 6), y el 7x7x7 (Cubo-V 7).

The current world record for single time on a 3×3×3 Rubik's Cube was set by Feliks Zemdegs, who had a best time of 6.65 seconds at the Melbourne Summer Open 2011.

Tetris

I just wonder...
Is there someone who has never played Tetris?
Have you ever ask yourself where this game came from, who invented it and some others features?
..well... here I will tell you few things about this great game.

Tetris (Russian: Те́трис) is a puzzle video game originally designed and programmed by Alexey Pajitnov.

He developed the popular game Tetris while working for the Computing Center of the Soviet Academy of Sciences, a Soviet government-founded R&D center.

It was released on June 6, 1984.

Alexey Leonidovich Pajitnov is a computer-engineer from Russia now living in the United States.

He derived its name from the Greek numerical prefix tetra- (all of the game's pieces, known as Tetrominoes, contain four segments) and tennis, Pajitnov's favorite sport.

The seven one-sided tetrominoes in their Tetris Worlds colors:

Here are some of the presentations that this game have had.

As you know, designers are always using their imagination to create "original" things out of the ones that already exist, and Tetris has been not an exception.
The following pictures shows you some of the designs that have been inspired in this game.

This game will be always one of the most importants from 80´s and 90´s.
So, if you haven´t tried it yet, this is a great opportunity to do it! ...
